John,
No rain just a little wind and lots of
fun. Thanks again for the great time.
If I (we) can ever vouch for your services
would be glad to have anyone give us a
call. I know that when you look at everyone’s
web site it would be good to talk to someone
who has gone down the road with a good
one. Hope to do it again someday.

Dear John,
After my return from Ireland last night
I am still thrilled since I enjoyed a
week of superb and truly memorable golfing
experience in Northern Ireland and the
Greater Dublin area as well as a great
time all week including a very nice day
off in Dublin.
Everything worked out wonderfully well,
the seven courses I played were all fantastic
(I decided to play once more at The Heritage
yesterday), the accommodation you arranged
was splendid, the people were friendly
all around and last but not least, the
weather was better than I could have ever
hoped for (although I feel a bit cheated,
since I did not need all the heavy wind
and rain gear I bought for the trip and
so probably still lack the "real"
links experience!).
John, I want to thank you once more for
making all this possible within a short
time frame. You worked out a great tour
and helped me well along the way again
and I already look forward to contacting
you for the next golf trip to Ireland,
maybe then to Donegal and Sligo!
Thanks again and best wishes

Hello John,
Just back from a wonderful trip. Thank
you for setting everything up for us.
My three buddies were very impressed with
your taste. The favorite course for all
of us was Tralee followed by Old Head.
This is my second trip arranged by Eire
Golf and it won’t be my last.
Thank you

Hi John,
Our group had a great time in Ireland. All
of the courses we played were in great shape
and the hotels were very nice.
Our driver Tim Looney was great and it
was good to see him again; everyone in
our group enjoyed his company.
I have played Pebble Beach several times
and most of the courses played in Ireland
were in better shape and had views equal
to or better than Pebble. The reception
at all courses was very good; Doonbeg
absolutely exceptional. I would change
little if rebooking this trip;
You did a first class job and we all
appreciate you efforts; We will hope to
see you on the next trip.

Dear John,
We had a great time in the North....
Loved all of the courses. Consensus of
the group ranked the top three as Carne,
Enniscrone, and Ballyliffin. The car rental
company was excellent. I may do that same
trip again, with a couple of adjustments
and I want to thank you for treating us
so well.
Cheers,

Just to let you know that
we made it back home on Saturday, and
that we all had a wonderful time. The
weather turned out great (no rain, very
little wind), and we got to play St Andrews
Old Course. The accommodations were very
good. Thank you for your assistance. Everyone
had a great time.

Hi John,
Sorry I've taken so long to answer but
you know how time flies. Anyways the trip
was absolutely perfect. We were so lucky
with the weather as it seem to clear out
everywhere we went on the evening before
we arrived. The hotels were great - We
were treated great at all courses, but
I do want to say that the trip was made
the best because of Roger Phelan our bus
driver. Superb. he really did make the
trip something to remember..Anyways thanks
for a great trip and I have no idea if
and when we shall return but I will let
you know if I do. thanks a million

Dear John,
The trip was absolutely fantastic- everything
was very well organized and ran smoothly.
The courses were great but we especially
enjoyed the European Club and RCD-what fantastic
settings! We also were very fortunate with
the weather. Thanks again for arranging
such a great trip. Dr. Sharma will be getting
in touch with you shortly in regards to
a trip to Scotland tentatively planned for
the summer of 2009.

Dear John,
I hope this finds you well, and dry. We
are all home and over the jet lag. So, I
wanted to write and thank you for a fine
trip. A short summary follows: The Hotels
were all top notch and close to good restaurants,
pubs, shopping and activity.
The courses were wonderful: Portmarnock
with all the history and views. Then PGA
with a beautiful, plush course--very cushioned
fairways and greens. A good suggestion
with carts and not as expensive or crowded
as the K Club. Old Head was spectacular
and all the guys said was" worth
the trip" by itself! Adare was also
in great shape with views of the castle.
We had some drinks and beers in the castle
parlor after golf. Waterville, Ballybunion,
and Lahinch were super links courses with
a lot of history and connections with
Payne Stewart and Tom Watson.
Our driver, Kevin Sullivan, was outstanding,
much fun, and went out of his way to accommodate
us. Making extra runs for various groups.
He was a real plus for us.
It was nice to put your face with an
e-mail name in Killarney. Thank you for
hosting us for drinks, and for all your
patience over the last year. Congratulations
on a job well done.
I will certainly recommend your group
to anyone I am able. Yours truly,
Jeff Woodson

John, we just wanted you to know we returned
from Ireland safely and with many fond memories
of your delightful & picturesque country.
We want you to know how totally satisfied
we were with all the Eire Golf did for us
while we were there
Our driver “Neily” was fantastic.
Always on time and willing to accommodate
our every “whim”. He showed
our wives much of the Irish countryside
while we enjoyed your challenging golf
courses. All of the Tee times were as
we had planned which made our time on
the links even more satisfying.
The hotels were great, especially the
Killarney Park in your wonderful home
town.
We know we will return to Ireland sometime
in the future and when we do we will look
to Eire Golf for our trip. Please feel
free to use us as a reference anytime
in the future.

John, WHAT A WONDERFUL TRIP and it doesn't
rain all the time in Ireland and we have
pictures to prove it! We were pleasantly
surprised. Everything was wonderful - even
Diane driving on the left side of the rode.
It made it so great to go and come at our
own pace.
Ennis was a great location and nice little
town. Adare Manor was spectacular! Our
room was wonderful and the staff was so
nice! We put about 1,000 K on the car
so you see we did not let grass grow under
our feet. We went to the Cliffs of Mohr
and Doolin the first day and even went
to Dingle and around the drive and up
the Pass. We went down to Kinsale and
saw our husbands at Old Head. They had
a fabulous trip as well. Thank you for
all your arrangements. You do a wonderful
job. I will recommend you if any friends
plan a trip to Ireland.

John,
Just a short note to let you know that
everything went real well with our Eire
Golf Tour this year. We all felt that
being located in the Dublin area this
year was a nice change. Your choice of
Golf venues was spot on and we really
enjoyed PGA National, The Heritage and
Carton House. Barberstown Castle was excellent
as usual. Many thanks John to you and
your Team for ensuring that everything
ran like clockwork – great job and
we’re looking forward to more of
the same next year!

Thanks for helping us
set up a fantastic trip. The hotel wa
perfect and very accommodating with the
early check in and great recommendations
for food in Killarney. The courses were
magnificent – my personal favourite
was Waterville followed closely by Tralee.
At the end we all vowed to repeat the
trip next year – so I will be contacting
you soon to set it up!

John,
Had a great time in Ireland. The courses
were great the scores were high and the
pubs helped us lick our wounds.
The places we stayed were all excellent
and he people and staff were very professional,
kind and helpful in every way.
It was my friend’s first visit
to the country and he left with a promise
to return with his wife one day.
All in all a great experience was had
by both of us.

| Hi John,
The golf trip was absolutely fantastic.
Some of the best courses we've ever played.
All of the hotels were very clean, great
service, friendly staff and good food.
We were amazed that no one even asked
us for our vouchers. It was like they
knew we were coming. John, you did a great
job and we appreciate all your help in
setting up all the arrangements. The pubs
were just a bonus for us. We labeled our
trip 40 miles of walking, 40 pints of
beer. We will definitely recommend your
service to others. Thanks again for a
great job.

Hi John,
I just wanted to let you know that we
had one of the best trips ever! Everything
went so smoothly, thanks to you. We also
couldn't have been happier with our driver,
John Hickey. He was great! And, needless
to say, the accomodations and golf throughout
were fantastic. How did you also arrange
such lovely weather?!
Anyway, we send you our heartfelt thanks
and appreciation. We will definitely tell
our friends about you and Eire Golf Tours!

We all had a wonderful time and have
agreed that the Ireland courses are much
better than the Scotland courses, plus
the people are much friendlier.

I do want to thank
you and Sue for the nice gesture
of the golf shirts for the crew.
That was extremely nice of you and
we all appreciated it a great deal.
It was certainly a pleasure seeing
you after all the many months of
e-mails, itineraries and changes.
You provided excellent assistance
and service and I know all of the
group would not hesitate at all
to refer more people your direction.
Thanks again for everything. |

Just a note to tell you that
we are all safely back home in the USA.

courses were great; as were the hotels and
John was good as can be with a great sense
of humor and very talented in driving the
bus !!! The pictures cannot do justice to
the landscapes we all were privileged tosee

Hi Sue.
We had a fabulous time on the golf tour.
We would go back in a minute! Thank you
so much for your help on this payment
to Old Head. They were so nice there.
Mickey and I both think that Old Head
is the most beautiful golf course we have
ever seen. Ireland is a beautiful country
too. So many beautiful golf courses, so
much wonderful beer, so little time!!
Have a great day!

John,
We got back Sunday evening and I want
to thank you for setting up a fantastic
golf vacation. The weather cooperated,
the courses were fantastic, and the accomodations

it through without any major incidents.

| My wife Nan and I returned
July 26, 2006 from a trip we booked through
John and his company. Our self-drive tour
was through the Southwest, playing Lahinch
Old, Ballybunion Old, Tralee, Waterville
and Old Head. John arranged for us to stay
at 4 Star Guesthouses in Lahnich, Ballybunion,
Killarney and Kinsale.
We could not have been more pleased
with the arrangements John made. John
booked all of the tee times at the courses
and everything, from the Avis rental car,
to the Guesthouses and tee times went
off without any complications or problems.
I highly recommend John and Eire Golf
Tours and cannot imagine that anyone would
have done a better job of arranging our
trip.

| Dear John,
by now, we are already back home (unfortunately!)
and we'd like to tell you how much we
have enjoyed our wonderful golf trip to
Ireland.
The courses we played were absolutely
great (we especially enjoyed your recommendation
to play Killarney Killeen on our first
day), the hotels and our respective rooms
were good, the weather was nice and mild,
the people friendly and your very professional
and efficient organisation made everything
work absolutely smooth and without any
hassle or stress.
We would like to thank you once again
for having made our whole trip possible
within a really short time frame of only
a couple of days (especially our tee time
on Ballybunion Old Course, where we were
told that normally a reservation has to
be made several weeks in advance!) as
well as your kind looking after us for
the duration of our trip.
Because of our really wonderful time,
my brother and I have already decided
to come back to Ireland within the near
future (maybe then to the Dublin area
and the north) and we would definitely
contact you again before that to speak
about possible trip and course arrangements.
Kind regards & thanks again,
Mark (July 2006)

Dear John – Our trip
to Scotland
Things are settled enough so that I can
reflect a bit on the trip you arranged for
us. Some thoughts might be helpful to you
as you arrange trips for others. The trip
was, in a word, outstanding in every respect.
Even the weather co-operated; we did get
wet part of one day (at Turnberry) but we
had little wind and a fair amount of sun.
The hotels were great; Russacks' overlooks
the 18th and 1st holes and fairways; Turnberry
overlooks much of the Ailsa course as well
as the Ailsa Craig and Greywalls is, of
course, incomparable. If I were to rate
the courses, Muirfield stands at the top
followed by St. Andrews Old (because of
the history), Turnberry, North Berwick,
Troon, St.
Andrews New, Kingsbarns, Gullane # 1, Dunbar
and (one you didn't
arrange) Archerfield's. We got on that one
through a friendly encounter with a member
there; when we drove into the course before
playing it, Ian Woosnam was on the practice
tee.
The experience of playing Muirfield in the
morning, then changing and having lunch
in the clubhouse, then playing again in
the afternoon SHOULD BE ON EVERYONE'S TO
DO LIST FOR SCOTLAND. Caddies add a great
deal to the experience; I would recommend
them every where they are available.
So, many thanks for your help in setting
up this wonderful trip. .
Regards, John

John & Sue,
Words can't express the time we had in
Scotland! It was without question a trip
of a lifetime and I want to thank you
for helping me put it together. I had
some tough customers in that group. Many
of the men have traveled the world around.
But when all was said and done, they could
only tell me that it was the best trip
they had EVER been on, period.
 |
|
The accommodations,
golf and transfers went like clockwork.
The boys couldn't stop talking about
how smooth things went from start
to finish. You know buy the size
of my file how important it was
for me to have everything in order
and we didn't miss a single thing
!I want to say what a pleasure it
was to meet you. I felt quite ill
just as we landed and hope my pain
didn't overshadow my excitement
to meet you. I can't thank you enough
for help and wish you would add
me to your references so that I
might help someone else book with
you. |
Thanks again, God Bless, and best of
luck to the two of you!
Jeff Perrone |
John and his staff at
Eire Golf did an absolutely outstanding
job.
We were in Ireland for 13 days and played
the following courses in order: County
Louth (Baltray); Royal County Down; Royal
Portrush, Portstewart; County Sligo (Rosses
Point); Portmarnock; Lahinch; Tralee;
Old Head; Waterville and Ballybunion.
Golf courses, hotels and the coach were
even better than we had expected. We had
a group of 16 golfers who were quite "picky"
and John managed to send home 16 very,
very happy golfers. In fact one member
of our group is going back next summer
with his wife and three other couples
and they are having Eire Golf make all
their arrangements.
If your group is large enough to use
a large coach (bus) I would ask John to
get Dennis Carroll as your driver. Dennis
made the trip very enjoyable for us with
his knowledge of Irish history as well
as a delightful sense of humour. He is
also a six or seven handicap and can fill
in in the event one of your group needs
to lay off for a day.
Eire Golf has my unqualified wholehearted
recommendation. They were professional,
ethical and co-operative in every aspect
of my dealings with them.
Mike Langrehr |
Dear John,
Fabulous, fabulous, and wonderful. Our
trip to beautiful Ireland was great fun.
Every aspect of trip went smoothly, a
great driver and a fabulous tour guide.
He delivered us to our daily destinations
full of anticipation.
Our accommodations were the best. Our
personal favourites were room 258 at Sheen
Falls and 402 at Adare manor with The
Reverend's Room at Mount Juliet a close
second. We had wonderful food throughout
our stay and have become big fans of Irish
beef. Everyone we met was friendly and
made us feel like old friends. We though
the golf was wonderful, our favourite
courses were The Old Head1!!!!, Adare
and Mount Juliet. We cannot imagine any
views prettier than those of the Old Head,
not even Pebble Beach. We were so enchanted
with Ireland that we are contemplating
our next visit to be very soon. We appreciate
all your work insuring a very memorable
trip for us, thank you again.
C. Parvin |
Dear John,
It was a pleasure meeting you on the
course at Tralee - the back nine is the
most beautiful treacherous, 9 holes of
golf in the world.
Just wanted to thank you for organising
the tour for us and for your selection
of Hotels and Golf Courses. It was wonderful!
Thanks, again. Nancy also wants to thank
you for the wonderful trophy that she
won for collecting the most points in
our 9 day golfing contest. It caused a
bit of a stir going through the security
checkpoints in New York, but it travelled
well and now sits on the shelf with all
of her other golfing prizes!!. A perfect
end to a wonderful visit.
Thanks for your fine tour.

John,
I just wanted to let you know that our
trip was fabulous! All of our arrangements
worked out as planned and we appreciate
all the help you gave us. The golf courses
were spectacular, especially Old Head,
and Mother Nature was pretty co-operative.
I'm sure it will not be our only trip
to Ireland. We'll surely let you know
when we-re ready to plan our follow on
trip. Thanks again for all your help.
Best Regards,

Hi John,
We are back Down Under. We want you to
know that we had a FANTASTIC trip. The
golf courses, accommodation, transport,
etc were all great. I'm glad that you
were on the wave length of what we wanted
in terms of standard of accommodation
etc. We enjoyed the variety, such as Barrow
House, and Mt. Juliet.
 |
|
Our driver was
great and helpful, as we did ask
for little side trips, and he was
very co-operative, and tolerant,
of our crazy wishes!
We will all recommend you to friends
who want to golf in Ireland, and
also hope to personally use your
services again sometime, in the
not too distant future. |
Best wishes, and Thanks

Dear John & Sue
Following my recent trip on behalf of
the Catering Industry's Golf Tour, I would
like to thank you both for your superb
organisation of our visit and also for
the lovely momento's we received at our
gala dinner, it is very much appreciated.
I am already looking forward to next
year's tour and to compete against the
rest of the lads and even more, take some
money off them!
It was lovely to meet you both and I
hope it won't be too long till the next
time.
Kind Regards

John,
Just a note to let you know how much
my wife and I enjoyed the wonderful trip
to Ireland last month. The trip went smoothly
even with me driving on the 'wrong side'
of the road!
Thanks to you and your staff for the
excellent planning and co-ordination and
patience in answering my numerous e-mails.
I will recommend you highly to my friends
thinking of travelling to Ireland. The
Berger Golf trip was excellent also….best
golf trip I've had.

Dear John,
My foursome just returned from our 10
day golfing adventure in Ireland. I didn't
think anything could be better than the
trip to Scotland which you planned for
us but I was wrong. Ireland has to be
the best place in the world for a golfer
to go. The people were friendly and eager
to help, the scenery was beautiful, and
the golf was terrific! From the time we
got up in the morning until the time we
went to bed we were busily having a ball.
Of course we enjoyed Ballybunion and Royal
Co. Down but your suggestions like County
Louth and Tralee were gems.
Although we played 10 different courses
all over the country, the way you set
up our tour and your choice of lodging
helped us do it all without a hitch (excluding
errant golf shots). We still had time
to visit places like Waterford Crystal,
the Blarney Castle, and do an excellent
sampling of the local pubs.
Thanks again for all your personal attention
and your understanding of what we wanted
this trip to be. Until the next time I
remain..........
Very Truly Yours,
D.H. S.D., U.S.A |
Dear John,
What can I say. What a truly marvellous
golfing holiday we have just had, thanks
to your organisation in Killarney. The
greetings we received from everybody was
memorable, the service was good and what
about those golf courses. You could not
have chosen better, each one different
and to finish our stay at the Old Head
Golf Links was millionaires golf.
Once again my sincere thanks to you and
your staff for organising such a truly
memorable five days golf and you can be
assured that we will be back.
Many thanks,
Kevin Peters |
