Deposit & Balance Payment
A non-refundable booking deposit
of 30% is due at the time reservations are requested
and is used to secure transport, accommodation and guaranteed
tee times. Full balance of payment is required
10 Weeks prior to
departure date.
Payments may be made by Bank Transfer (direct wire
from Bank to Bank) or credit card (MasterCard, Visa
or Amex).
Cancellations
Eire Golf Tours must be notified of cancellation by
e-mail or fax and are subject to the following cancellation
charges. Cancellation Insurance
is highly recommended.
- From time of booking up to 10 weeks prior to date
of arrival - Deposit forfeited.
- 10 weeks to 6 weeks - 50%
of total Tour Price.
- 6 weeks to date of arrival -
100% of total Tour Price.
Itinerary changes
We understand changes can happen after deposit has
been paid, tours will be re-priced and will result
in price different from the original price.
Car Hire
- Driving Licence
Drivers must produce at commencement of rental -
a valid unendorsed driving license, which has been
held for the preceding two years. Visitors from
overseas must produce a driving license issued in
their country of permanent residence.
- Minimum Age
Minimum age: - 24 years. Maximum age: - 69 years.
Persons under 26 years of age are restricted to
renting smaller saloon cars only.
- Addditional Drivers:
Additional drivers may be included in your rental.
Extra charges apply. This can be done on commencement
of rental at the Airport.
- Insurance - "Peace
of Mind"
The car-hire companies offer a complete range of
covers for our rental customers, to ensure complete
"Peace of Mind" while renting a car from
us.
- Collision Damage Waiver:
- covers against loss / damage to rental vehicle
subject to an excess of between €800 -
€2000 which can be waived by taking our
Excess Waiver.
- Theft Protection:
- covers against losses arising out of theft
/ attempted theft subject to an excess of between
€800 - €2000 which can be waived by
taking our Excess Waiver.
- Excess Waiver: -
provides total "Peace of Mind" on
our insurance inclusive rate products. Excess
Waiver reduces your excess liability of €800
- €2000 to either €500 or €100
(depending on the car class) for an additional
charge per day
Handicap Certificates
Some courses you will need to see your current handicap
certificate, please be sure to bring this along with
you. St. Andrew’s Old Course and some others
will not allow you on the course without one . If
in doubt please check with the EGT. The handicap limit
at most clubs is 24 men and 36 ladies.
Travel Insurance
It is highly recommend that all travelers obtain personal
travel insurance to cover loss damage or theft of
luggage or personal belongings, personal injury, illness
or accident.. Guard against the unexpected and enjoy
worry-free travel and golf. Eire Golf Tours recommend

Eire Golf Tours is not liable for any persons travelling
without travel insurance on any of the above.
Responsibility
Eire Golf Tours acts only as an agent for chosen transport,
accommodations and golf clubs and shall not be held
liable for any loss of or damage to property or injury
to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence,
or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure
of performance of any kind by any other transportation
company, vendor or supplier.
Any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress
or similar matter. Any delayed departure, missed connections,
substitutions of accommodations, terminations of service,
or change in fares or rates:
Any cancellation or double booking of reservations
or tickets beyond the control of Eire Golf Tours.
Eire Golf Tours does not accept the responsibility
for losses or additional expenses due to delays or
changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather,
acts of God or other causes. Such losses or expenses
will have to be borne by the client.
When booking, the customer agrees to these terms
and conditions.
